Keep Showing Up: Even If You've Lost the Battle, Through God's Strength, You Will Still Win the War
Isaiah 14:27 - New Century Version - When the Lord All-Powerful makes a plan, no one can stop it. When the Lord raises his hand to punish people, no one can stop it.
Proverbs 19:21 - New Century Version - People can make all kinds of plans, but only the Lord’s plan will happen.
Proverbs 16:33 - Contemporary English Version - We make our own decisions,
but the Lord alone determines what happens.
Jeremiah 29:11 - New Living Translation - For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
Romans 8:28 - New Living Translation - And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

As you read the collection of encouraging, empowering, and affirming verses, I hope one of your takeaways is similar to mine. The takeaway is the wars of your life that you are called to fight— you will win!
No matter what it feels like, you will win!
No matter if you are outnumbered, you will win!
No matter when you fall, still, you will win!
No matter if the world around you is hating and plotting to destroy you, still, you will win!
While that’s the case, and that’s worth celebrating, I want you to know that just because you are assured of winning the war no matter what, that does not mean you will not lose some battles along the way. Consider our first president, George Washington.
Washington, then a General, lost two-thirds of all the battles he fought against the British in the American Revolution. He was outnumbered and out-resourced; despite that, he eventually won that war, which led to him becoming the first president of the United States.
I don’t use Washington as a spiritual role model, nor is his feat biblical; however, it does provide us with a reminder that if we continue to show up in the midst of the battles lost, while righteously pursuing God’s purposes Scripture promises, we, like Washington, will win the war, even if we lost the majority of the battles.
Consider how many people give up prematurely because they assume the battles lost are a sign they have no chance to win the war? Don’t let that be you! Instead:
1) Honor God
2) Have Faith
3) Show Up No Matter What
When you do, not only will you win, but He will too!
